The commercial arena is filled with legal pitfalls. To properly advise clients, a lawyer needs to understand the business realities clients face as well as the legal issues. Legal decisions need to complement those business realities. This is what I do for and with clients. To do this successfully, the client and lawyer need to work closely, which requires the ability to contact your lawyer quickly, and the ability to formulate strategies quickly. Because my client base is relatively small, every client has access to myself and my staff that is usually unavailable in the typical law firm. This ability to communicate is often the critical difference.
